Fashion designer Jatin Kocchar along with costume designer and social entrepreneur Ramola Bachchan were part of a women’s empowerment talk and fitness boot camp that took place at the Leisure Valley Park at Gurgaon held under the aegis of “Empower - Let's Be the Change”, a movement focused on spreading awareness about domestic violence against women.
The drive was organized by Nidhi Seth, managing director of Luxury Solutions towards creating awareness in the society. She said, “This cause is not highlighted by many people, yet many women even in the educated strata of society are silently going through domestic violence. There is nothing more destructive than a damaged relationship. It is difficult, traumatic and hurtful if the air you breathe in your house is foul. We want to create a stir about this.”
